Our parents often comment that the most magical part of CHT is the sense of community that it offers. Whether native Westporters or newcomers to the area, lifelong friendships are formed on our campus. More than a school, it is a family of families with a shared vision of the wonders of childhood.
Families have opportunities to enjoy events with one another such as school picnics, holiday parties and a Spring benefit.
To learn more about our school policies, please click below to read the Parent Handbook. The intention of the Parent Handbook is to familiarize parents and families with the policies, procedures, and professional administration of Christ & Holy Trinity Preschool. In order to provide a smooth and positive transition between home and Preschool, the Administration makes every effort to communicate with parents on a regular basis. We are happy to answer your questions about our policies and procedures and to work with you to help children adjust to our school routines.

2022-23 CHT Preschool Calendar (pdf)
DownloadWe are so excited to welcome back our families for the 2022-23 school year! At CHT Preschool we are dedicated to providing a safe and healthy environment for all students, families and staff. We are currently following the COVID-19 Guidance for Early Childhood Programs issued by the CT Office of Early Childhood and our policies strictly adhere to recommendations by the local health department and CDC to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in the community.
This year we plan to bring back several of our community events as long as it continues to be safe to do so. We are looking forward to our playground playdates and class visits in August and our Fall Family Picnic in September! We are also excited to continue our community outreach projects to help those in need. Projects have included the students making bagged lunches for the Gillespie Center (a homeless shelter in Westport), a food drive for several food banks in Bridgeport and collecting donations of items needed by the Open Door Shelter in Norwalk.
We look forward to pop-up seasonal events for the children, Christmas pageant, movie nights, social events for parents, a firetruck visit, our annual Spring Fundraising event (last year's event was "A Night in Havana") and a year-end family picnic.
Please enjoy the photo carousel highlighting our previous events below.
"We moved from NYC to Westport with two little girls and we didn't know a soul in town. CHT Preschool became our instant social circle, as it's a close-knit community that is truly special. Now, nine years later, the families we met through CHT in Westport are still some our dearest friends."
“We cannot say enough positive things about our experience at CHT Preschool! From teachers to the parents, to the small classroom environments and community events – this has truly become the core of our home in Westport.”
“CHT’s Fives program is remarkable. Both our son and daughter attended this special year and the teachers were amazing. Our children had the extra year to develop and mature in a setting which celebrated their unique talents and gifts. We are forever fans!"
